Quinta GALEON Lodge / Costa Rica, is a beautiful, very private, family-owned boutique mountain lodge, a prime, attractive and distinctive quality tourist destination located in the highlands of Costa Rica, at 2050 msnm (6700 fasl), some 60 km from San José, on the way to the Coffee Valley of Santa María de Dota, next to Los Quetzales National Park, on the majestic mountains of Talamanca.

COVID 19 Protocols & COVID 19 Statistics in the Area
At Quinta GALEON Lodge, we have very strict COVID and health safety related protocols in place. This responsible attitude towards preventing and allowing ourselves to coexist with COVID risks and eventual exposition, can also be said of our beautiful coffee valley of Santa María de Dota, our closest town, at the foothills of Quinta GALEON Lodge and other neighboring towns.
An important fact to highlight for you all reading this section of our website: The entire Los Santos Area and The Highlands is by far and will continue to be the area in Costa Rica with the fewest numbers of COVID cases, almost to a non-existent level. * Source: La Nación Newspaper, ibit.ly/uXmB
As of April 22, 2021, there have been almost 232,000+ Covid cases reported in Costa Rica since we had the first COVID case 411 days ago.
As of April 22, 2021, Dota, our county, where we are located, reports a total of only 134 COVID cases, (with only 15 active cases), i.e 0.0006% meaning 6/ ten thousandths of the Costa Rica Covid cases.
Zona de Los Santos, include 3 counties, i.e Dota, Tarrazú & León Cortés. The 3 counties combined report a total of just 62 active cases out of 232.000+ total COVID cases reported since the beginning of the pandemic.
Bottom line: When visiting Costa Rica, definitely Quinta GALEON Lodge, Dota, The Highlands and Los Santos Area are by much and will continue to be, the safest places to visit, to enjoy and to put in your bucket list as part of your Costa Rica vacations and travel plans.
