“QUINTA GALEON” is located about (80 km (50 miles) from Juan Santamaría International Airport, or 60 km (37 miles), southeast of San José downtown (Costa Rica's capital city). It is just over an hour drive over the mountains on well paved roads that take you through stunning landscapes, variety of micro-climates, and breathtaking mountain views.
This serene mountain-side Quinta is located at an elevation of 6,600 feet, overlooking the quaint, picturesque coffee towns of Santa María de Dota and Tarrazú in the Central Valley / Zona de Los Santos Region, in the heart of the scenic Route of the Saints area (Ruta de Los Santos).
It is surrounded by pine forest and coffee farms where one of the world’s best and famous coffee is grown. Directions to Quinta GALEON can be found in the following map.

A. From Juan Santamaría International Airport:
1. Head toward Route 111 southeast on Autopista General Cañas/ Route 1 Pass by Puente Juan Pablo II (12.7 km)
2. Take the ramp onto Route 39 Circunvalación South. Go through 1 roundabout Pass by Antigua Rotonda de San Sebastián (8.6 km)
3. Take the 2nd exit on next Y-Griega roundabout eats towards Cartago (1000 m), onto Route 211
Pass by Estación de Servicio Delta (on the left in 700 m), (San Francisco Catholic Church on the left 1.2km) (2.4 km)
4. At Motel La Fuente intersection, continue east onto D048 towards Curridabat (1.5 km)
5. Turn right at Ferretería El Cruce onto V210 (110 m)
6. Turn left onto Autopista Florencio del Castillo towards Cartago (1.6 km)
7. Continue onto Carretera Interamericana/ Route 2 Continue to follow Route 2.
Pass by Servicentro El Guarco (on the right in 16.3 km) until exit at El Empalme intersection (42.6 km)
8. Turn right onto Route 226 at El Empalme (9.6 km)
9. Turn left onto Calle del Bosque (22 mts)
10. Slight left to stay on Calle del Bosque. Quinta GALEON will be on the right (550 m)

WEATHER INFORMATION:
Los Santos Area has an average temperature of 72F (22C) and is delightful year round.
During the "dry" season, -from December through April-, you can expect beautiful sunny days, cool mornings and evenings.
The rest of the year, mornings are usually sunny but it may rain in the afternoon.
While Costa Rica is a tropical wonderland all year, many nature lovers find the lush "green" season especially beautiful.
Thanks to our mountain-side 6600 feet elevation, guests enjoy year-round comfortable mountain breezes.
